LCA PROGRAMME
Project aimed to promote Latvia as a congress destination through support to representatives of non-profit sector, i.e. doctors, scientists, professors and other experts who represent Latvia in international professional associations, and senior representatives of local branches of international companies.
Who is Latvia Convention Ambassador (LCA)?
LCA community is composed of representatives of the non-profit sector, i.e. doctors, scientists, professors and other experts who represent Latvia in international professional associations, and senior representatives of local branches of international companies. Both groups are actively involved in the preparation of international congresses or conferences within the professional associations and companies and can significantly influence the choice of the host country in favour of Latvia.
The destination also significantly benefits from corporate events that are much more frequent than association conferences.

Increase the potential of congresses and conferences in the city of Riga and throughout Latvia

Recognise and appreciate congress ambassadors for their contribution to meeting industry as well as for representing Latvia

HOW TO BECOME AN AMBASSADOR?
Everyone could become an ambassador!
The congress ambassadors, within their associations or companies, lobby for the benefit of Latvia and then participate in the preparatory work of the scientific, programme or organisation committees. International associations often count on the fact that the organising committee gets sponsors, plans a programme and organises social part of the conference. Although Latvia is a great place, most meetings and conferences would not take place here without the "local hosts".
