Latvia Convention bureau Successfully Showcases Its Business Events Offer at IMEX Frankfurt 2026

Latvia Convention bureau has successfully concluded its participation with a joint national stand at IMEX Frankfurt 2026, one of the world's leading trade fairs for the global meetings, incentives, conferences and events industry. The event took place in Frankfurt, Germany from 20–22 May 2026, bringing together thousands of international buyers, suppliers and industry professionals.
Over the three-day exhibition, the Latvia joint stand served as a platform to present the country's diverse business events offering and strengthen its position as an attractive destination for international meetings and conferences. Representatives from the Latvian tourism and hospitality sector engaged in numerous pre-scheduled and spontaneous meetings with hosted buyers and event planners from key international markets.
IMEX Frankfurt also provided an excellent opportunity to introduce and test new tourism and business events products currently under development. The direct feedback and insights gained from international buyers and industry professionals are invaluable for further refining these products and ensuring they meet the evolving needs and expectations of the global market. The event offered a unique platform to explore new ideas, identify emerging trends and create innovative experiences that will further enhance Latvia's business events portfolio.

Latvia's participation generated significant interest among international buyers. Latvia Convention bureau is implementing the project "Business and Event Tourism Cooperation Network" (Project No. 1.2.3.6/2/24/A/007) for the creation and implementation of a business cooperation network. The project is carried out within the framework of the European Union Cohesion Policy Program for 2021–2027.
