A New Tourism Product in the Making – Incentive Box

As part of the Business and Event Tourism Cooperation Network, work is underway to develop a new tourism product – Incentive Box. Its aim is to bring together and structure unique, experience-based incentive and corporate group activities offered by Latvian businesses, creating a diverse and attractive selection for business tourism clients.

In the long term, Incentive Box will serve as a practical tool for both Latvian and international event and corporate group organisers, helping them quickly find and select suitable activities and experiences. At the same time, it will provide Latvian tourism and event industry businesses with an opportunity to showcase their offerings more widely and reach new clients.

The current development phase focuses on collecting content, selecting ideas and creating the product’s structure. To make Incentive Box as diverse as possible and reflect the potential of Latvia’s regions and businesses, we invite members of the network to submit their incentive ideas – unique activities, experiences and offerings that would appeal to corporate groups, conference participants and event attendees.

We are particularly looking for authentic, creative and distinctly Latvian experiences that allow event participants to discover our culture, nature, people, traditions and modern business environment in new and engaging ways.

The submitted ideas will be evaluated and incorporated into the overall Incentive Box offering, creating a unified and competitive product that can contribute to the development and international promotion of Latvia’s business tourism sector.

The presentation of the completed Incentive Box product is planned for September, when industry representatives and other interested parties will have the opportunity to learn more about the developed solution and the experiences included in it.

Latvia Convention bureau is implementing the project "Business and Event Tourism Cooperation Network" (Project No. 1.2.3.6/2/24/A/007) for the creation and implementation of a business cooperation network. The project is carried out within the framework of the European Union Cohesion Policy Program for 2021–2027.
