Progress on DBadge Development: Working Group Aligns on Next Steps

The Business and Events Tourism Cooperation Network continues to move forward with innovation in the MICE sector. The DBadge product development working group gathered to shape the future of this exciting new tourism tool.

During the meeting, participants:
✅ mapped out a clear work plan for development,
✅ set key deadlines to keep the process on track,
✅ discussed the main challenges and risks to ensure smooth implementation.

The DBadge initiative is designed to strengthen Latvia’s position as a competitive and forward- looking destination for business and events tourism. The meeting highlighted not only the technical steps required, but also the shared commitment of partners to deliver a product that will bring real added value to the industry.

With teamwork, expertise, and a common vision, the DBadge is steadily moving closer to launch — promising new opportunities for collaboration, recognition, and growth within Latvia’s business and events tourism ecosystem.

Latvia Convention bureau is implementing the project "Business and Event Tourism Cooperation Network" (Project No. 1.2.3.6/2/24/A/007) for the creation and implementation of a business cooperation network. The project is carried out within the framework of the European Union Cohesion Policy Program for 2021–2027.
